How To Get There

International guests can fly into Sorong Airport. From Sorong, there is a scheduled ferry to the Island of Yeben via Waisai, or direct from Sorong to Yeben depending on the day you arrive. Dedicated transport days are Monday and Saturday; guests who arrive on other days can avail of a transport service subject to a surcharge of 300 EUR per person

Dive Overview

Diving in Raja Ampatis characterized by itsmindblowing diversity, featuring a plethora ofmedium to large size fish, good macro, and great hard and soft coral reefs, along with some muck and mangrove sites. The water temperatures hover at around 89F (31C) year-round, so warm that a wetsuit is hardly needed. The archipelago's topside scenery is also stunning.

Accommodation Overview

The Cove Eco Resort offers guests two types of accommodations: the Standard Cottage and the Superior Cottage. These accommodations are built with sustainability in mind, built by local craftsmen with locally sourced materials. Rooms includea private toilet and shower with hot and cold water, mosquito net, working desk, deposit box, and a comfortable area under the porch to enjoy the beauty of the ocean.

Food & Drinks

Experience a unique blend of Asian and Western flavors with meals prepared by the chefs at Cove Eco Resort. Drinking water, tea, and coffee are available, in addition to pastries and fruits.

Soft drinks and alcohol can be bought at the resort. Guests can opt to bring their own alcohol for a corkage fee of10 EUR per bottle.

Dive Information

• The reefs of Raja Ampat have long been explored. The region is known to be one of the most biodiverse in the world, and at least 75 percent of all coral species in existence can be found in Raja Ampat.

The marine life is equally spectacular, and the range of creatures from schooling manta rays, to minute, recently discovered pipefish and seahorse species, is astonishing.

Schools of fish in the thousands writhe over coral reef slopes that offer sightings of turtles, eels, cuttlefish, and sharks, including the famous wobbegongs; and after diving the various sites in the heart of Raja Ampat, a visitors conclusion is invariable this truly is a magnificent epicenter of marine biodiversity.
