What to expect
Raja Ampat is one of the most popular diving destinations in Indonesia, primariy because of the rich biodiversity. Stunning untouched coral reefs, Manta Rays, sharks and a lot more can be seen here. There are three main diving areas in Raja Ampat: Central, North and South.
Traveling to Raja Ampat is rather easy with direct flights from major cities such as Jakarta and Bali. Most liveaboards depart from Sorong harbor, a short 15 minutes car ride from the airport.

Day 1 (1–2 dives) – Arrival & Check Dive Meet the crew and settle into your cabin. After safety briefings and gear setup, we’ll conduct a relaxed check dive to ensure comfort in the water. Expect to see vibrant reef fish, healthy corals, and possibly a turtle or two.

Day 2 (Up to 4 dives) – Dampier Strait Start the day with reef dives teeming with schooling fish and colorful hard corals. Keep an eye out for reef sharks, napoleon wrasse, and swirling barracuda. Muck-style afternoon dive may reveal mandarinfish or walking sharks. Night dive optional.

Day 3 (Up to 4 dives) – Reef Walls & Slopes Enjoy dramatic underwater topography with sloping reefs and mini-walls covered in sea fans and soft corals. Species sightings may include wobbegong sharks, pygmy seahorses, and schools of fusiliers hunted by giant trevallies.

Day 4 (3 dives + beach BBQ) – Remote Northern Reefs Dive remote sites home to large pelagics and stunning coral gardens. Possibility to spot manta rays, bumphead parrotfish, or eagle rays. End the day with a sunset BBQ on a white-sand beach.

Day 5 (3 dives + land activity) – Central Raja Ampat Reef dives with excellent coral coverage, macro critters, and large schools of snappers and sweetlips. In the afternoon, enjoy a short trek to a scenic viewpoint with panoramic views of the iconic karst islets.

Day 6 (Up to 4 dives) – Channel & Cleaning Stations Expect fast-paced dives with strong currents that bring in manta rays, reef sharks, and schools of jacks. You may also visit shallow coral bommies where sweetlips, turtles, and anthias gather in colorful harmony. Optional night dive at a lively jetty.

Day 7 (2 dives) – Calm Bays & Shallow Reefs Gentler sites with beautiful coral gardens and abundant marine life. This is the perfect way to wind down your dive trip. You might see turtles, crocodilefish, and even a few surprise critters in the sand.

Day 8 – Disembarkation Enjoy a final breakfast on board before your transfer to the airport or your hotel in Sorong. No diving this day due to flight surface interval.
